Honestly Wiim devices are just so polished and easy to use. I have an Ultra, Sub, Two Pro Plus and a Mini. I can control them all from my amp, they're Room Ready, have Tidal and they just work.

Only lacks Apple Airplay, the Ultra and later models. Pro Plus still compatible, I think.

Yeah.....I had to add Airplay with a Raspberry Pi with an optical output to the Ultra. I'm thinking of adding a WiiM Mini instead (which has Airplay) I suppose the better solution is to not use Apple Music.

Agree, I'm fine with Spotify and thinking to add Roon for discover new music.

But miss other uses of Airplay as YouTube from my ipad.

I use an Apple Tablet to control Roon and have the iPad on a hub stand to a DAC then optical out from the DAC to a Wiim Mini. Simple and lossless if you care about lossless.

Agree on both points. I started with a WiiM Pro Plus and then added an Ultra to my collection.

Ahhh let me tell you! The Fiio BTA30 Pro and it's also a Bluetooth receiver so you can use it to transmit your TV audio to it which makes it nice as well. But you do need a powered hub.
