In order to do that, since Amazon Music uses AlexaCast, you need to log in to Alexa on the Wiim app. After doing that, your WiiM will appear as a casting target
I know and I've made the setup this way. I was able to cast to Mini from Alexa app, but my Mini was still not visible in Amazon Music app.

Cast from the Amazon app, then open the Wiim app and you should see the bitrate info
That is how I have been playing from the AM app. Perhaps I am on a different version of the app? I am using Android and the app version is 1.3.8.220722.b188ae

There is an open request thread on WiiM forum asking for the incorporation of Squeezelite player. Add your voice to the thread if you'd like to see this happen. Would give us LMS users another player!
There is a Plug-in for simulating upnp as squeezelite so that’s not necessary. Actually that’s the way I stream music from my lms server to WiiM and it does work perfectly (including high bitrates formats).

You use LMS's "UPnP/DLNA bridge" plugin. Is it gapless and can the WiiM be synchronized with your other Squeezeboxes?

Updated to Firmware Version 4.6.426049. I wasn't on beta. With the new firmware, when casting from Amazon Music, it shows the HD and UHD labels in Wiim app. Does not show bit rate, Hz, etc as compared to when you play Amazon Music from within the Wiim app. Casting has been working so far in bit-perfect mode.
Android or iOS?

I believe the firmware on the Wiim Mini device itself got updated to 4.6.426049 (dated 8/12/2022). I typically use Android phones and tablets. The Android app version has stayed the same. The Android app version on my phone still reads 1.3.8.220722, which I am assuming came out on 7/22/2022.

The website hasn’t shown latest firmware of that date.

Yeah - interesting response from WiiM re PEQ: “We still plan to develop parametric equalizer but now we need focus our resource to our next generation product first.”

Wonder when that will hit the streets…
this announcement seems to mark an important turning point for the future of wiim follow-ups...
certainly thinks he has done the essential....
I hope they will keep some resources to continue to clean the little-means bugs concerning the wiim mini etc....
