Are you referring to landscape mode? I believe that is fixed. It's three years since I tried the Mini. I didn't like that it couldn't easily be controlled from an Android tablet. Any news on that front?

Hello Ralph,A mini display for the Mini (or any WiiM).
WiFi, using the WiiM's https API. See post #1398 above.Hello Ralph,
that is very interesting.
How do you connect it to the Wiim mini?
Yes, I now have the same fear after reading the website of the display and the link from RalphLooks like one must be an RPi enthusiast to implement the display.
MUCH simpler than an RPi. All of the support infrastructure comes pre-installed on the display, no SD card involved. Four steps to get this running:Looks like one must be an RPi enthusiast to implement the display.
Still no native LMS on the Mini but it got room correction?
Amazing what they are doing with that little puck.Mini is going to Maxi
Except native LMS support?!View attachment 433206
Everything is there, everything works.
Room correction with external microphone and calibration file possible, so everything is the same as with the Ultra, if I haven't overlooked anything.

Pushed this to GitHub.MUCH simpler than an RPi. All of the support infrastructure comes pre-installed on the display, no SD card involved. Four steps to get this running:
1. Install Thonny on your PC.
2. Load the two files into Thonny
3. Edit the "secrets" file with your WiFi login, WiiM IP and time offset
4. Push the two files to the display with Thonny
Thanks for checking. Does the Wiim app run on any particular version of Android? I assume there's ZERO chance the app will work on an Amazon Fire tablet? The android app now resizes for tablet properly but I believe is functionally identical .

I think it should work. In my Huawei tablet works without problemsThanks for checking. Does the Wiim app run on any particular version of Android? I assume there's ZERO chance the app will work on an Amazon Fire tablet?
You can't download the app from the app store. Not sure if you can side load it - worth checking on the WiiM forumsThanks for checking. Does the Wiim app run on any particular version of Android? I assume there's ZERO chance the app will work on an Amazon Fire tablet?
I think one will need to install the "Google Play Store" on the fire tablet first, then use it to download the Wiim App. (Per Wiim forum)You can't download the app from the app store. Not sure if you can side load it - worth checking on the WiiM forums
