“I hope to experience the multi-room audio of Wiim or Auido Pro and Sonos in person. I have been using Sonos for more than ten years.

My way of using it is to listen at will in various rooms at home (a/v rooms are independent), through the mixed use of Ethernet and wifi sources (Sonos Connect is connected to separate amplifiers and installed speakers) and integrated sources/speakers (Sonos Pla Y:1s). I stream from the library based on home NAS as well as Spotify and Amazon Music.

My Sonos Connects finally broke down, and I had to replace them with Sonos Ports and "upgrade" to the current Sonos application. So far, the new application is not a complete disaster for me, but it is definitely a downgrade of the old application. Considering the application problems and the high price of Sonos Port, I am considering a complete modification of the Wiim or Audio Pro system. However, Neither Of These Two Systems Has Been Well Received. Therefore, I am looking for any first-hand feedback related to my usage. Now, it really depends on the application/interface and reliability. I have no complaints about the sound quality of Sonos devices. I'm just looking for a smooth and reliable experience that can create playlists, group and ungroup rooms, and listen to music.”

Which two have not been well received? I haven’t seen a lot of Audio Pro reviews, but WiiM products - across the board - been very well received and lauded in reviews.

On a purely streamer to streamer basis, the WiiM Pro & Pro+ stack up extremely well to the Sonos Port, both for features and price.
