Wiim Amp Ultra Eq question

Hello Wiimers,

I haven’t been able to find the +/- dB range the Amp Ultra or Amp provides in PEq mode, or even in GEq mode. Web site is totally vague. Even Ai-assited searching hasn’t been able to help me. Hoping an owner may be able to.

Is the Amp Ultra 10-band graphic OR 3-band parametric, but not both at the same time?

What is the actual available adjustment range in dB, eg +/-12dB? I suspect it might be only +/- 6dB like many modern amps.
How many bands are available in parametric mode and are the +/- dB limits the same?

I’m assuming Q adjustment is not really limited.

Kind thanks in advance!

Below picture is from Wiim. Gain range is -12 to 12 dB; Q is 0.1 to 24.0.

That’s fantastic. Thanks so much.

Graphic eq and parametric eq have inherent differences....I'd prefer the PEQ option....

OTOH you need measurement gear for best results.

Thanks to the info provided by the previous posters, I bit the Black Friday sales bullet and got one today. Impressive device I must say. Have been running it post my other amp as an active eq feeding the 15” 2-way PA spkrs. Whilst they’re not Superwax Mini or 4367 level, gee they now sound impressive. Tactile dynamics and cymbal attack that I can’t normally get with the Lintons. Room-fit eq wizard is super fast and seems to do a reasonable job on its own. Then there’s the GEq and PEq to season-to-taste. What a thing of beauty and joy this seems to be. Cheaper than buying new speakers too!

Its a fantastic piece if kit. I cannot believe that I paid 428 dollars for it. It dials in so nicely for stereo.
