Tempted but longevity is a concern. Its space on the furniture is minimal and that’s an attraction for me. Sound quality will be probably good but just not sure it would be better than my Denon PMA900HNE (if anyone knows, let me know) but it is the durability of this product that it keeping my finger off the trigger, simply put I just do not have any confidence in the way a lot of amps designed around the TI chip and how they seem to last for.
Heat is a thing with these or more precisely the TI chip and there is no venting on this amp either which until a couple of years ago was a source of much frustration for many with amps using the same chip shutting down due to poor heat management.

I expect at least 10 years out of my Denon amp but this one realistically…I can’t see last more than 3-5 years at best, I would like to be wrong though.
What do you reckon, do I have legitimate reason for concern here? Has anyone been using the regular WiiM amp for over 2 years on a regular basis and noticed anything like maybe a drop in sound quality or performance in some way?

Don't need venting if you're using a large heatsink, which based on the previously posted teardown appears to be the case. I don't see any reason to be worried about thermal issues with the Wiim Amp. Only open question in my mind is the quality/specs of the capacitors used, which I couldn't see from the teardown unfortunately.

I wouldn't expect any difference in quality between the Denon and the Wiim, realistically.

I use my amp for tv sound, after 3hrs of loud performance it’s just warm.

Shenzhen Yuscon Electronics

Received it yesterday.
So far I'm impressed by app and overall functionality of this amp.
Alo positively surprised of built quality and finish if this device. It feels very nice and dense.
Should serve well in our living room. Now it's time to add a subwoofer ;)

ps. @WiiM Team as I see you are about to introduce a subwoofer, can we expect more info about power, size connectivity etc. ?
Hi! The WiiM Sub Pro has an 8-inch driver and Class-D amplifier with 250W max, boasting a frequency range of 25Hz–200Hz. It's got a wired subwoofer input and will also wirelessly pair with any WiiM device. You can read all about it here.

impossible to says ...but 10 /20 year its no for sure but the price is X3 or X2 less and in 5 year you will have 5 gen more news wiim

lcd / oled screen have lifespan , when you look eversolo eemc memory inside ....

thermal is important for condenser , the chip its not problem

Got the Wiimi Amp Pro using the Amazon Prime Day discount for a price of $303 USD! This is the perfect minimalist solution for a secondary set of bookshelf speakers. My source is Roon streaming and the unit integrates nicely with Home Assistant for remote controlled function. My other option is a Douk A5 mini Amp fed via a Raspberry Pi 5 USB to a Topping D10s external DAC. But those are three (albeit small) boxes with two power cords. The Wiim Amp Pro wins on form and function.
