Hi. New here.

As confirmed withWiiM’s customer service, with latest firmware update on my WiiM Pro Plus they’ve removed AirPlay/WiFi streaming. So looking for a reasonably priced upgrade/replacement (thinking no more then $600-700).
Hoping to find a single box DAC solution that offers WiFi (in and out) preferably AirPlay, and a phono preamp.
If it matters my course will be my iMac M1 desktop, my receiver is a Pioneer VSX-933 and my turntable is a

I have never seen such a device. I don't think one is even made. It's a rare ask for gear.

Hello and welcome. If you want a phono preamplifier, you either need an ADC and a digital architecture, or you need an analogue preamplifier which has a DAC built in (with all the ins and outs you've specified).

I'm reasonably confident no-one makes that as a single box. The market would probably be too small. You might stumble across an AVR or specialized receiver that has these features.

I believe the Linn Selkt DSM will do all that, for about ten times your budget. I just tested the AirPlay function on my Linn Klimax DSM. Was able to broadcast Qobuz from my iPhone.

They removed airply/wifi streaming? Did they say why?

What's your receiver missing? Maybe a phono preamp?

Similar to OP situation, I have a preamp with phono input and I have a DAC. Their outputs go into a little switch box, several RCA ins and one RCA out. The out goes to the power amp. It's a flexible solution. Later if I ever got a CD player, it would feed the switch box, too.

According to their post on the Wiim forum thy can whitelist existing owners to keep the AirPlay streaming feature if you file asupport request.

Yeah, I’m aware of the whitelist option but that also means no more firmware updates. Ever.
Besides I literally bought it six months ago and they’ve removed a key feature. I don’t want to gamble and stick with WiiM: who knows what other functionality they’ll see fit to pull.

“Due to user experience and compatibility issues with future AirPlay devices, we must remove the AirPlay Cast feature from the current product.”
Yeah I saw a thread got started on the subject. I'd be using the dlna/chromecast in that case....
