There will still be audible differences because in both cases the tonal balance will differ.
Both the speaker and headphone are not 'neutral' and differences could be well over 10dB at certain frequencies.
Apples and pears and both are slightly blemished as well.
Enjoy both for what they are or EQ them to get them to sound more similar in tonal balance.
