Why aren't there more honest and objective reviewers like ASR and Amir?

As a aside , years ago when i was on my offal cooking Odyssey my local farm butcher would often comment saying I was the only guy asking for " this stuff " apart from some Filipino folks that took all his pigs heads .


So if we have any Filipino members, assuming this is a cultural thing ( it very well might not be ) have we some pig head recipes ?

The fat on the outside of a ox heart , bliss .

Anyone have a recipe for ox heart that doesn't involve it being stuffed ? I'd make Sausage out of it maybe with garlic , pancetta and rosemary?

What else ?

Maybe we should combine our culinary experience and create a recipe for panther head ?

Tripe is a nightmare to process but if you can get it ready done it goes well in all curries ! Kinda bit like squid though if never put it on a grill.

With this many headless panthers a good idear.
 
Also measuring equipment can be very expensive.
Many audiophiles do not like being told their equipment is bad.
Audio equipment is often expensive so it's hard to review large numbers of products without manufacturer's support and most unsurprisingly prefer to support sites which give them good reviews no matter what.

Amirm does an awesome community service here, along with everyone who sends items in for review.

The service as I see it is to remove insecurity and provide defined value parameters based in science.

Unfortunately even this has been misappropriated by audiophiles , thusly we get folks worrying about 2db in sinad and chopping their DAC in.

I had pigs head in a very English gastro-pub in manchester. No attempt to spice it up- literally just ( I guess) boiled a bit then roasted.

It was , errr, fiddly and fatty.

@amirm I know you pickle , or your wife does ( story of your life ) but have you made or more accurately prepared and kept sauerkraut?

I Buy it from some capitalist hippie's ( I know what a contradiction , even a ape could offer insight to avoid this predicament but hence humanity is where it is ) ..
