I have always loved integrated amps.
Like Einstein famously said, "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler".
To me that means a capable and feature rich "Preamp DAC", because the built-in apps and streaming API connections will always get obsoleted, and should simply be highly replaceable devices. I like as much functional integration as possible, minimalism is my mantra. But too much integration also leads to accelerated obsolescence these days.
