Perhaps more for UK ASR members, but after watching a recent "Later with..." and hearing Sienna Spiro for the first time, I recalled also being introduced to Seasick Steve, Gregory Porter, GoGo Penguins and many others on his shows.

There's so many discoveries over the years, and such an eclectic mix, what was your favourite discovery?

I like a number of British artists I discovered on the BBC, partly on Jools, partly on some of their other Youtube clips. (Subscribe to "BBC Music" on youtube and you get all kinds.)
I definitely remember first seeing Gregory Porter on the Jools show. "Hey Laura" is a very special track.
Some other British performers appearing on Jools or on the BBC elsewhere: London Grammar, Stormzy, Jake Bugg, Emilie Sande (definitely on Jools), Nick Mulvey, Freya Ridings, Bastille, Wolf Alice.
Jools also does feature a large number of American performing artists as well.
Another source of enjoyment is all the Glastonbury festival tracks the BBC puts onto youtube. Here's a great one from this year.

I believe Gregory Porter's track Mister Holland is about Jools and his family.

Small world! I was born in Groningen province, in Groote Gast just west of the city. In fact, I was in the province in September this year, visiting relatives, and also, I did an 8 day cycling tour of the Elfsteden in Friesland. I did not know that Jools had an affinity for the province. I do know they called him in at the last minute to headline in Grolloo a couple of years ago.
If you reverse my avatar name (Artsfols) you get my Frisian last name. We emigrated to Canada in 1959.

Do you have a Dutch community overthere? And do you miss the Netherlands?
