Yes, my cognisance of popular cultural shibboleths is a little patchy ... ;-)
I voted TNG, TOS, Voyager. But there's a lot of really terrible episodes of all three. TOS is my favourite, it has more good episodes than the others.
DS9 I watched the first two episodes on original broadcast and thought it was terrible. Probably should have given it more of a chance. Same with 'Enterprise.'
The series that are only on streaming like SNW, I haven't ever watched.

Of course I grew up with Original so it holds a nostalgic place in my heart.
My all time favorite is Next Generation. Patrick Steward will always be Captain Jean Luc Picard. and the rest of that cast just WAS StarTrek for me.
So that puts the Picard series right up there with it, it just felt so good to see the SNG crew back together. I wish for one more motion picture from them.
Next on my list is Enterprise, Scott Bakula was a believable Captain, and then there is Jolene Blalock OMG. No matter how weak a episode might be, every minute she was on the screen was eye candy heaven.

I actually purchased the original series box sets, subject my wife to an episode from time to time. Great fun.

Yeah, all of them have some stinkers, but that’s expected when you’re making 26 episodes per season.
For me, the “problem” is that I didn’t watch TOS until much later, so TNG always felt like my original Trek. DS9 was great for doing something new while still remaining Star Trek, but I can't say that I rewatched it as much as TNG.
They're constantly on TV here, as is TNG. When one channel stops showing them, another starts.
I started watching TOS when I was about 4 years old as my father was a physicist and a big sci-fi fan so he always watched it and every other sci-fi show. Almost certainly a formative influence on me.
Weak episodes a plenty but there was nothing intrinsically wrong with it, whereas I could write a book about the problems with TNG. The characters of Picard, Data and, in later seasons, Worf, really saved it from being a total disaster.
Had high hopes for Enterprise until the lame first episode. Bakula's a good actor but too familiar from other shows. An unknown would have been better for that role. Although maybe that's just me.

I've enjoyed aspects of them all, and they all tend to suffer from similar issues (except one). They almost all have some element of campiness, and offbeat or inconsistent writing. Yet they also deliver a good story and a fun ride overall.
Discovery is the only show that took a bit more effort to enjoy, for me. Here, sadly, they tried to make too much of a cultural statement. They haven't shied away from such previously, looking all the way back to the original series. But in Discovery, it was prominent and in your face almost every episode. Tiresome, to be certain, yet I still enjoyed it.

I wish they had kept the darker feel of the prelude episodes that set up the whole of the first season. I was a bit bummed when they switched that over to the standard ST campiness.

And to think they almost didn't cast him! Gene Roddenberry didn't want him because he was bald, and in the future, baldness wouldn't exist. Also, Patrick Stewart was kind of indifferent about acting in SF.

I agree about Scott Bakula. But Jolene Blalock - I feel like she was legitimately great! I think she and Jeri Ryan often get put in the same “hot character” category, but honestly, both of them delivered solid performances.
