Which speakers are similarly priced to the Wharfedale Diamond 225s and in budget?

Wondering what I should look at to get something of similar quality for the same price ($500ish AUD)?

The thing is that these speakers look and feel premium, and I am pretty sure that they sound quite premium, although I'm no expert - hence the question...

Apparently the Elac debuts are up there, but I'm not sure they look that great... or at least in contrast to the wharfedales....

Hi, not sure where you got that price for the 225’s? Maybe 2nd hand, but the 6.5” woofer range have been in the $750 range new for years. Apollo HiFi, Syd have one pair 225’s left advertised.
Alternatively 2nd hand 9.2’s, 10.2’s (I have a pair and they’re good), etc.
Never heard Elacs so won’t comment on those.
