Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a purifi amp to pair with my KEF R6s and minidspt htx. I was looking at the newer 1ET6525SA modules. There are a few options out there I was considering such as the Apollon stereo amp. They also have the dual mono version for about $800 more. Is that worth it? Other brands that come to mind are the March audio version. Boxem has a stereo version but I'm slightly worried about the small form factor and I would actually prefer the trigger option. I don't want the Buckeye because I dislike their cases. Any other brands I should consider? Any guidance would be appreciated.

You may want to make this decision depending on where you are located. If EU, I'd go with Apollon or Audiophonics.

For me, spending additional 800 for dual mono is of no real benefit. You will not be able to hear any difference (e.g. when it comes to potential cross talk etc)

Edit: March is based out of Australia
Edit2: Also check Nord audio from Uk

I'm based out of the US but I'm willing to purchase out of the US for a nice case and quality.

I can speak for the Boxem. I'm very satisfied with my Boxem A 4216/E2 with Purifi's Eingentakt 1ET6525SA.
Soundwise it is very linear, neutral, reacting precisely to the source, thus and a proper choice for long listening sessions.
Bevor this Boxem my last one was a DIY Nilai500 and bevor a Hegel 390 and bevor.... Fast forward!
Since I'm in asr, here are some measurements: power consumption is low, the top-side of the case is almost permanently on the cold side (temp in Celcius) .
The power consumption toguether with my Node Icon: both in use 28-29 Watt, both in stand-by 4,5- 5 Watt, depending on Icon displaying clock or on black screen. The Boxem in idle with the Icon in Stand-by: 12 Watt.
The auto-sense works fine, after 15 minutes without signal it goes in deep stand-by and restarts with lighspeed when signal arrives.
The case ist solid and well done, there is no led in the front, but you see through the cooling holes the reflection of the red diodes, and that is nice and enough for me.
Last but not least, Luke Skywalk, aka Fred, is a nice contact to deal with, replying quick to all my questions and the delivery time was as promised.
Cheers and happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing. Paired with the Icon, how does it compare to the H390? Any noticable difference?
The H390 ist a very good amp, but the internal DAC didn't convice me for long time listening. The new hypex and purifi stuff are brillant. The Icon with the Boxem has a crispy, clear and non-metallic sound which depends in the quality of the network connection. I have Wifi only and can hear when my icon has a bad connection in the mesh. And my ears are no more the new one...
