I’m shortly going to have a moderately decent size room of 8m x 4m x 2.5m and am contemplating an upgrade from my over 20 year old Ruark Prelude.
I’m fairly convinced it’s going to be KEF R due to the performance vs cost and availability of matching centre and height channels.
The listening position would be on the long axis of the room at somewhere around 5m.
In that size of room is there any advantage to say the R11 or is it simply too small for that size of speaker and would an R7 or even R5 be sufficient?
