Yes! I am using cheap StarTech right now to implement my 4-way rePhase/Equalizer-APO active system. I want to know if there can be an audible upgrade to Creative. I feel Amir's pain on their crap-ware onslaught. But if I can grin and bear it while getting an SQ bump, I'll take it.

Far too late to the party since most phones don't have headphones jacks, but measuring iPhones, OnePlus devices, and LG quad dac stuff would be good. Make sure no nonsense is going on and see which devices get close to a line level signal and have low output impedance.

Currently I use a OnePlus 3T with a pair of JH Audio Lola earphones plugged into it, but I wonder if the output impedance is high on the phone.
