Why don't more DAC's have this

Simply because "Aux-in", being analog, is a non-sense feature for a DAC...
In the case of FX Audio, it is either a mini optical input or a analog one for the headamp, I don't know.

Doesn't it have high output impedance? If so, it is not going to do well.

Regardless, please contact the company and ask them to send one in for review. They may do it as otherwise, spending that much money on my front is out of the question.
