How do they name these things in English?

"Rod Rain" sounds vaguely pornographic.
From a talk once on the subject with a friend who runs a store on there it is oftentimes somewhat transliterative - trying to match Mandarin word to English sort of phonetically.
Sometimes just picking English words that sound good to their ears and resemble a Chinese word of interest. You would not think it but IP comes into it as well - the same difficulty car brands have picking names these days as so many have been trademarked they just make up words now.
A manufacturer will offer a product for wholesalers to do their thing with and the wholesalers have to stick a brand on there and sometimes they are just in it for a batch, and sometimes they are in it for the longer haul and try harder to come up with something decent.

I have finished measuring the following DACs:

1. Schiit Yggdrasil DAC with Gen V USB board but old analog board
2. Schiit Yggdrasil DAC with Gen V USB board and new analog board
3. Berkeley Alpha DAC (original version)
4. Chord Hugo 2 DAC

I have to capture the graphs, add text, etc. so can't do all of them at once. Right now I am ready to go with #1 but if you all are anxious for others, I can put that aside and do the others.
Topping DX9 can be used as a dac

If it has a pre-amp function then it's possible to turn down the volume to 2v, the problem is that it's hard to know exactly how much to turn down to get as close to 2v as possible.
Obviously not all gear will like 5v or 2.5v input
https://www.800908.com/how-to-test-rca-outputs-voltage-with-multimeter.html well if a device breaks the rca industry standard by +25% to boost dynamic and signal to noise numbers is not a dealbreaker for AmirM maybe it shouldn't be for me either. Might order this little dac and measure. But really if I use it as a convenient remote control frontend to say an A70 that A70 amp's pot is going to be at 100% and the odds of me hitting 2.5V output off the dac willingly is exactly 0%.
Using the A70's pot I best know where to dial the dac up to though.

I bought this inexpensive DAC/charger cable - twenty bucks. It sounds rather pleasant and clean. Judging by volume output - it's probably 1V DAC.
