Where to go from here?

So after splitting with my partner of 14 years and moving to my new place I've done a bit of upgrading to my system to spoil myself. I replaced my Kef Kube 8b with the KC62 which cleaned up the bass audibly. Also added the Fossi Box X5 instead of using the WiiM Ultra's internal phono amp to improve the sound I get from vinyl. Very happy so far. But I'm wondering what the next logical upgrade to my system would be. Currently, my system is:

LS 50 Metas
Wiim Ultra
Topping PA7 Plus
Fossi Box X5
Denon DP400 with the Audio-Technica AT-VML95ML

I'm considering getting Topping B200's or an Apollon Purifi power amp, or moving from the LS 50 Metas to the R3 Metas.

What would be the next logical step in improvements? I mostly listen to jazz, acoustic world music, classical and some hiphop and rock.

How is your current system insufficient?
How big is your listening room?
How far is the listening position from the speakers?
What is the loudest volume you normally listen?

To upgrade the sound I would look into new speakers and / or dialing in room correction more. So if you don't think you've maxed out the capability of the WiiM PEQ in that regard you can get a mic and work on that, or even upgrade to Dirac ART or similar, but that will require new DSP hardware.

Going to the R3 meta or beyond will also make an impact for sure.

Going for a nicer/ bigger amp won't do much for sound quality unless you need to go louder or you can hear amp noise, but the WiiM amp is already pretty good and audible improvements from upgrading that are unlikely.

Get a measurement microphone, use the WiiM EQ.. maybe some room treatment if possible?

Based on my experience, Id say limitations are mostly only noticeable with synthesized music, which you dont listen to. Distortion or any non linearities are hardly audible with real instruments. I dont see a point in upgrading unless youre like me and want peace of mind that a 20hz sine wave will be extremely clean at high outputs. If you actually hear “unclean bass” then there might be something happening in the chain, maybe even a device fault. Maybe what im saying might not be very related to your inquiry but im just throwing that out there. For me, my apollon purifi amp works wonders in the bass department tho i always recommend going that route

For your type of music, seriously consider the philharmonic audio BMR monitor. $2k. The wide directivity makes acoustic stuff sound amazingly lush and big.
