After a while listening to youtube (yeah, yeah), I decided it is time to build my digital library again. With the number of albums I'm interested in I would take fortune to buy them full price. I would rather take slow steps and buy things on discount.

Where do you find them/get notified when there is a sale?

Observation: a discount is not worth much if you can't get the music you actually want.

Bandcamp has pretty fair prices for digital, and a good of paying the artists.

Cheapest way I've found is to buy discounted, or used, CDs and rip them.

Happy hunting :)

Depending on the genre of music you are interested in different sites may appeal. For classical and jazz Presto music is good.

The site is easy to navigate and offers samples of each track on each album plus reviews from reputable sources such as BBC, Gramophone magazine etc.

I will not buy just any discounted album, just album I'm interested in get discounted. Still it will be close to thousands because I'd buy many just for nostalgia reasons
