Where do you all insert your MiniDSPs?

I bet, like me, many of you have been attracted to MiniDSP as a cheap way to inject Dirac into your two channel system. And if you have only a single streamer or something, it’s pretty straightforward to put in the the chain:

Streamer -> MiniDSP -> Pre -> Amp -> Speakers

But what about when you have a few sources?

All my sources are digital these days, no need for any ADC function in the main stream, though available as a source.

So:

Sources -> switching -> DSP -> pre -> amps and transducers

My scenario is somewhat similar in that I've got only digital sources and NONdac minidsp:

3 Sources -> minidsp shd studio -> 2 DACs -> amp to mains, subs

No preamp, multi inputs, easy.

Mine is a miniDSP OpenDRC-DI, digital in and out only.

I've got miniDSP SHD Studio. Very similar to yours, just more outputs so you can use 2 DACs, one for mains and the other for subs.
