Where can I find the circuit diagram for this DIY project?

Welcome to ASR.

I think that article is in error. AI? The article is from an electronics distributor, not a transistor maker.

The red flag is that the article states "The 2N5875 is a high-power NPN" when actually it is a PNP.

Transistors are designed as NPN or PNP.

An amplifier output stage with 2 of the same type would be called a quasi-complementary design.

The common design today for Class AB amplifiers would use an NPN and a PNP. Usually a 2N5875 would be paired with a 2N5877. The DIYAudio forum is good for projects.

Another source is the device maker reference designs or application notes. For instance for a standard Class AB https://www.cieri.net/Documenti/Altri marchi/Motorola - High Power Audio Amplifiers with Short-Circuit Protection (AN485 - 1985).pdf. Another would be https://conradhoffman.com/papers_lib/AN483B.pdf. Texas Instruments would have loads of these designer aids.
