What happened last month is that D&M released Dirac Art support. Kind of revolution for the masses. ART is the buzz of the capital all around.
No comments on A1 as not using it but Trinnov for sure is not going mass market. Their bespoke model is what it is - pay the price and there you go. In addition to the hardware there will be $1K fee for extending the warranty/support beyond 5 years. Not providing any opinions, just stating the facts.
Trinnov just introduced the Altitude CI. It is an audio over IP processor with 8 analog outs.
If you only need 8 channels, it is significantly less expensive than the other Altitude models. You can ignore the AoIP functionality if you wish. Still not cheap! The unit is expandable via software licenses.
