Probably a waste of a good sample, but it beats going to the landfill!

It worked for our purposes, at least. The wooden floor was not scuffed, we could move the speakers (they weigh 150 lbs), and in his basement the sound was drastically reduced.

Now that was a very good use of a carpet sample. Plus it worked very well, a clear win/win!

Not snake oil ... it's Hong Kong snake soup. And yes it does have snake in it

I haven't had snake soup from this particular lady, but I have tried it before. Once you get past the mental barrier that you are eating snake, it's just like eating any other protein. The meat is white and flaky like fish when cooked properly. But it can easily become tough and chewy if it is overcooked. In the video, she says it tastes "sweet" like seafood, but not as overpowering as some seafood can be. I am not so sure about that, the difference is that nearly all restaurants that serve snake will kill the snakes to order so they don't have time to develop any off-flavours. In fact I have never come across a snake restaurant that does not slaughter snakes to order.

I live 20 miles south in Moss Beach I can tell you our fog is thicker and richer than that SF stuff.
