What's your favorite cool name for a scientific theory or event... like "Occam's Razor" or "Maxwell's Demon"?

But In the Heat of the Moment you would rule all of Asia.
... only to be poisoned by your own troops and dead at 32.... seems reasonable enough... bring on the the Razor and the Knot... fire up the spits and enjoy the BBQ... while it lasts... since we're still limited by Maxwell's 2nd law of thermodynamics... the fire will eventually join us to die at the pyre. Carpe Diem.

"Mercury in Retrograde"... lol. People still think this effects their moods and life... another nonexistent event controlling the masses.

Since trilobites have now made an appearance in the forum, I'm going to stick with biology for SMI. I just heard of this one last year.
SMI stands for the Slug Mucosal Irritation - a test for possible nasal or eye irritation based on how a slug reacts to a substance.
Although I disagree with testing chemicals on animals as much as possible, I'm amazed that this test is a common standard.
And it's apparently so obscure that it doesn't even rate a Wikipedia article (yet).
