Just curious. Anyone know? I know two contenders for most posts must be the measurements everything or nothing, and the vinyl renaissance thread.

(Related question: longest thread in terms of *number of words*)

Not this one, yet. I would never bet against A Call For Humor, it's the only way that people will "like" me.

I’m rooting for this one to claw its way to the top:

We should pin those stats for newcomers. They wouldn't guess it. Unless the "What are we listening to now" thread were full of graphs instead of album art.

Funny that neither of them are about audio science.
The Music one is. That’s about enjoying the fruits of our collective labor is it not?

Not arguing. Just conversing Sir.

When I want a giggle from the web my first thought is not "must visit the humor thread on ASR'

Which isn't to say ASR posters never make me laugh.

Heck, youse guyses have more of a sense of humo(u)r than do most audiophiles -- at least, judging by most audiophile forums for the last few years!

Er..whose collective labor? Are we all audio engineers here?

"I like sunsets!"

Well look at that, I just posted about astronomy!

Or photography -- or maybe just philosophy or aesthetics. ;)

I have a whole collection of 'em (more or less*) on Flickr.

Personal fave: taken from our back yard in October 2015 and (to the best of my recollection :p) unretouched.

I remember a thread about ATC speakers that became very very long.

You know... as I reflect on the "recent posts" list even now... the Can Anyone Explain the Vinyl Renaissance? thread has demonstrated real staying power.

Especially given that it could have been completly discussed with one reply to it titular query.

"No."

My vote goes to that thread for the one that feels the longest.
