Meatballs or "Frikadelle" as we used to say in Germany, with cucumber, tomatoes, a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper.
Oh and yes, mustard. That's not the one I could kill children for [no worries, I have two and they are still alive], namely
Colman's English Mustard, but a german brand, which is ok.

BTW, poll here: who makes the best mustard?

a. UK
b. France
c. Germany
d. none of them but... [please specify]

What is your favourite mustard?

For the meatballs I've taken half pork, half beef [can you imagine how difficult it was chopping 'em, particularly the later] ,
an egg, a lot of onions, garlic, chili flakes, fresh parsley and mint, salt, pepper, garam masala and love.

B. - I love the classic Grey Poupon as well as Moutarde de Meaux in the stone crock. For me, both are great. I really love the Dijon on fresh homegrown tomatoes - a fabulous combination.

c. Germany
Second that. Whole grain German mustard on a soft pretzel with a mug of fine beer is one of the great pleasures in life. I will be having that tomorrow.

Germany for the mustard. Semph? If the poll was for sausage, for me it would be a split decision between German & Italian.
Don't like cucumbers but love "Gurken salat" (Yeah, I know, spelling. U.S. Keyboard).

Vietnamese broken rice, pork chop, meat loaf, and shredded pork skin (Cơm tấm ... I have been told it's pronounced "kerm tam"). A heck of a lot of work to make since each component needs to be prepared. There are 9 components to the dish:

Pork chop: marinade needs to be made, pork marinaded, then fried.
Meatloaf: noodles, wood ear mushrooms need to be soaked and julienned. Then mixed with beaten egg, pork, and seasoning. Then steamed, cooled, and sliced.
Shredded pork: make toasted rice powder, fry up the pork mince, add shredded pork skin, mix.
Pickles: julienne carrots and radish and make a pickling solution with fish sauce, vinegar, salt, and sugar.
Soup: make chicken stock, garnish with fried shallots and spring onion
Cucumber and tomato: fortunately these only need to be sliced!
Broken rice: made in rice cooker
Fried egg: standard sunny side up egg
Dipping sauce: made from raw garlic, chilli, sugar, fish sauce, and water.

Once everything was made, I had 10 portions of food. I gave away 6 portions.
