Whats causing this dip in speaker response?

So I recently changed my rear atmos speakers to xtz atmosphere s2. I had very small sat speakers (monitor audio mass sat gen 2) up there before. There looks to be a -15db dip at 5k? to about 10k. What has caused this? Its an identical dip for the top rear left and right speaker

The first photo is the small sat speakers and the second one is the xtz speaker.
Is it because I cant aim the xtz speaker like I could do with the mass speaker?
Will I even notice that dip in real time viewing seeing as I don't even know what it means.
Should I just full range correct them?

Most likely. Very funky coax, never seen anything quite like it. I guess the response just dips like that off-axis. How far off-axis are you sitting?

Well, if there is no major variation of response among all possible seating positions and you avoid EQing in room issues...

Those might not have been your best purchase.

Not sure how far off axis I am but I was aiming for a 50 degree angle from mlp. I thought coax would have a much wider dispersion. I did another measurement to see if moving the mic back a fair bit to what looks like much more on axis but it still seems to measure the same, not sure what is going on here. This puts me off buying the other pair massively.

50 degrees is pretty far off axis for most speakers.

Didn't feel like I had a choice. If I go for a x0.7 angle which puts it at 55degree angle it only places them at 5t apart 30inches behind me and my sofa if 6ft long. I am going to have one last measure tomorrow at that 55 and see if anything changes.
