That would suck.
But all cruise ships are floating petri dishes.
Ah yes, Al Jazeera. Right up there with "I saw it on Reddit" as a source.
Stay off boats!Yeah, just a matter of time before all those that are healthy on board get infected. Is there a better way?
Al Jazeera is actually a pretty reputable information source on many subjects. Certainly more reliable than, for example, Fox News.
AJ is the mouthpiece of the Qatari dictator. Oh sure, they say things that are true, but all in the aim of furthering their agenda. They're right up there with the China Daily, the mouthpiece of the Chinese government and their leader. Or RT for the Russians and Putin. Exposing yourself to any of these sources is purposefully exposing yourself to manipulation for the benefit of their respective governments. Honestly, Reddit is a better news source.
...
At any rate, I would put the content on Al Jazeera up against the content of Fox News any day in terms of general accuracy and also in terms of degree of slant caused by selectivity/filtering of what subjects are covered.
I'm no fan of Fox/Disney News. However, I see them as more an entertainment channel than a news channel. They're 90%+ opinion.
Oh yeah, the Falun Gong cult source.Very interesting article about structure uniqueness, similarities and receptors. Suggests virus is a new version of coronavirus, not a mutation of one of the existing known strains. Also suggest similarities to HIV.
Scientific Puzzles Surrounding the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus
Oh yeah, the Falun Gong cult source.
Glanced at it. I try not to fill my brain with sand.Did you read the article ?
I think this is an example of neutral reporting - just the facts, ma'am: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/07/world/asia/coronavirus-china.html
And here's good political reporting - giving facts, stating multiple opinions of others on many sides of issues, and I can't tell if the reporters want this candidate or another: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/07/us/politics/pete-buttigieg-iowa-caucus.html
Here's an example of a bad political story - the top story on Fox - It omits many facts and solidly sticks to one side of the narrative: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ap...m-lawmakers-cannot-sue-over-business-payments
Here's a many-times-better article on the same subject that gives far more useful information, including who put the judges in, why the ruling went the way it did, and what many sides are saying about it: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...ourt-dismisses-trump-emoluments-case-n1132441
It's actually shocking how much was missing from that Fox article.
My point is, there are good and bad news sources out there. They're not all made the same.
I wouldn't want to be quarantined on the floating petri dish. New cases just doubled. (aka The Diamond Princess).
