ftmp, i don't really care about soundstage. I don't really worry much about recreating the illusion that there is a band sitting in front of me playing a song. I'm listening to a recording. I can enjoy good sound on speakers or headphones inter-changeably. Music on my HE-400i headphones is incredibly involving...actually a more intimate experience than speakers really. They are different ways of experiencing recorded music and I find both very enjoyable...
