According to the editor of hi-fi+, the Stack Audio SmoothLAN Regenerator seems to deburr the sound and remove roughness by reducing noise; it brings out the purity of a voice like this and delivers greater definition.

According to Stack Audio, The SmoothLAN Regenerator takes the network digital signal, filters, re-clocks and regenerates it, before passing it straight through to the music streamer.

Also, The SmoothLAN Regenerator operates at 100Mbps for optimal audio performance, minimizing network noise and interference for cleaner sound.

So, for around $900, it degrades your Gigabit Ethernet stream and magically fixes all the problems of streaming audio in the last foot of the network connection.

Truly amazing! It’s magic.

1. Invent problem that isn't important or doesn't exist.
2. Convince people problem is bigger than it really is.
3. Invent solution for the so-called "problem."
4. Market your solution as a necessary fix for the problem.
5. Profit.

I wouldn't be so harsh. It clearly says that it is

Uncompromising!:facepalm::facepalm::eek:

Huff paranormal reviewed the regular SmoothLan, so there must be something to it.

And this not only costs triple, it is the new regenerator.
