These Anti-speakers never make a sound, they are for those quiet moments.

I've always wanted K-Horns, I've had La Scalas, Forte, Hersey II, KG4 and Cornwalls. I whish I would have kept the La Scalas and Cornwalls. Dynaco A25s are nice speakers.

I like the 12" B&C speakers with the BMS horn drivers. Bass is not great but I have a sub. They run from 60 to 2000 hz. I got a good deal on them. 50% off, brand new. In a 16" sealed cube.

We need more pics of members' speakers!

I like Polk Audio. This voice is very catchy, and when I listen to the music, I can feel the music being so powerful.

Main system: Avantgarde Trio Omega. Crossover caps updated with Duelund CAST.
Alternate system: Magnepan MG-III. Crossover updated with Wonder Caps.

Just picked up a pair of PSB Stratus Silver speakers this past weekend for $200 off craigslist. In pretty nice shape, few scuffs here and there, but they sound great.

Just picked up a 2nd hand pair of Revel M106's, for £450 off ebay. Definitely the best bargain in terms of cost i've ever bought in hifi. They are replacing a pair of M16's, and i'm still getting used to a more "refined" sound. More delicate, more echoey??

Dynaudio Lyd 48 active 3-way monitors and Dynaudio 18s active dual opposed sealed sub, been using active monitors for 20 years and I've no need/desire/funds to try anything else

Very nice clean and tidy setup!

Very nice clean and tidy setup!

Ta very much, I have a very rational aversion to “stuff” around me, I have spms and need space to do my rather amusing “stumbling shuffle n’ grab“ to get around my tiny house.

Rest of room below, sidewalls treated as well with absorption & diffusion, I get to sit in the sweet spot in the room all day long. Seeing as I spend most of my life in the house and hours on my arse I thought I may as well make the most of the “opportunity“ to indulge ;). It’s slightly changed since these pics, rear GIK 8” range limited bass traps moved 3” out from wall with a frame and led lights fitted behind, and a few other room “tweaks” for comfort.

@Somafunk, very sorry about your illness, you deserve to have a very comfortable and beautiful room to spend your time in. The ceiling in your room is similar to my parent's house with the plaster design, it's a lost art nowadays. My parents' house was built in 1954 and the cove moulding is plaster too, rather than wood. The coziness of the wood fireplace is nice too!

Just finished these... call 'em the Anomalies. This is the second woofer I used in them with the first being unsuccessful. Series xover, series tuned double bass reflex using PRs. Tight constraints with volumes of 3 and 2.8 ltrs, and just over 4 ltrs in material usage volume. Tweeters are Wavecor TW045WA01 semi-coaxes, and woofers are SB12CACS25-4. 2X DSA135PR inner loaded, and exterior rear DSA215PR. You won't see speakers like these anywhere else....

Overlay of left and right, measured under same conditions. 175 is floor bounce. 420 is a diffraction dip. 34 and 84 Hz cumulative tunings are shown in FR as well as PR measurement. These dips fill in with system response. Bass is solid to lower 30Hz range.

Dynaudio Special One.

Collected today, after two days of listening, at the seller's house and at my house. I was really impressed, I kept them and am enjoying them. They sound amazing.
they are equipped with the famous Esotar 330 D tweeters and apparently super selected internal components and woofers. Almost 40 years old, 82 dB and 4 ohms....I thought I had problems, but instead they sound great!!
A few marks here and there, but I think I'll dismantle them and take them to my trusted body shop. They deserve a nice restoration!!!
I'm sorry, but that is not the Esotar tweeter. There would be 9 screw heads, and the faceplate is larger.
