Avatar 1 and Avatar 2 next, seeing 3 in the theater Friday....

Ummmmm....

People....this thread is supposed to be for SHOWS you've recently watched on physical media....

Yes - Symphonic Live dvd.

Steve Howe described it as their best DVD and I have to agree. Turn off the weird graphics and it’s a stunning show. It’s coming out on BluRay early next year with the first CD issue of the complete concert.

If you like Yes then you’ll love this. If you don’t like Yes, I doubt it’ll make you love them.

Chris Squier’s bass playing is amazing on it - my sub has never worked so hard
:)

Missed the specificity of "show" (adding "tv" in front might be better?). Then the last one would be Breaking Bad.

Thanks -- if you watched Avatar on some kind of physical media (per your last post), there's a separate thread for that which I started, as well.

My apologies for the title not being blatantly specific; thought the "show" moniker" was good enough, but, yes, it should be about TV shows viewed on some kind of physical media.

Addendum: I suppose not too many people still watch TV series on disc or (gulp) tape, so it can be any kind of method in terms of delivery. :)

Broadway "shows" preceded tv shows? :) LOL not too many people aside from dvrs I think use other than streaming/ota for tv shows, discs would be on the rare side I think.

Yeah, it's all good -- whatever anyone wants to post about. My initial thought was for TV shows folks are watching, not Broadway productions or any of that, but I suppose it can be documentaries and such too.

Likely The West Wing or Sports Night, 10 years ago or more. Can’t remember the last time I spun any disk that wasn’t multichannel music.

On disk, no.
Oh, okay -- but you can comment on anything you may have seen, serial wise, in any delivery method (per my addendum edit in one of the previous posts to another member).

FWIW we can see all the posts even when quoted :). Got me thinking about live broadcast shows, vs taped/filmed shows, how streaming is often neither, etc. Not sure it needs separation from movies either....

Sigh...I know that -- I was merely explaining that I was referring to the comment I made to you, as I had forgotten your user name at that moment.

This isn't that big of a deal; if this thread about shows bothers you so much, you can post whatever you watch in the film-based thread and I can have the mods edit the title of that one while deleting this one.

Plur1bus was the last series we watched. AppleTV+ I think. Really excellent.

Though I guess my daughter had us all watch the Taylor Swift docuseries over the weekend. Disney maybe? Conceding that it was a hagiography, underneath all the fawning it does seem to be that she gives off the vibe of being a genuinely nice person despite her talents (both musical and marketing). Not too many "stars" radiate that. Stephen Colbert is the only other one that readily comes to mind.
