I feel like I am in a weird place right now. I have a Rega RP6, Parks Audio Waxwing, Cambridge Audio CXC and Sonos Port into a Wiim Ultra into an RME ADI-2 DAC FS into a Boxem Arthur Purifi Amp into Revel F206s and an RLS 10S Mk2 subwoofer and I have no desire to add anything else to this system. No desire to upgrade anything. I don’t remember ever having this feeling before. Maybe it will pass soon.

I have a UMIK-1 microphone and I’m still playing with the Wiim’s room correction. I guess I will try to focus on that.

DSP opens up endless fiddling & listening, and real improvements in sound. Start playing with REW and compare to the built in RC. FWIW I found the Wiim RC awful compared to doing it myself.

Great to hear this :) Resist the urge to mess about too much while you have that rare feeling of contentment, listen to music!

Lots of music browsing.

And also try IEMs for when you are outdoors or just away from home? Lots of excellent and cheap options out there.

Enjoy the music, then. ;)

Sure. Stop spending money and try optimizing RoomEQ or placement. But, at last : Just enjoy the music (twice). ;)

I suffer with you not tinkering with HiFi stuff. Damn it then all that remains is this unpleasant thing of listening to music, I shudder.;):)
(just to be clear, yes that was irony)

Sounds like a good idea.:)

Why the complicated setup up:

steamer -> streamer -> DAC

Seems to me that you would only need the WiiM ultra.
Complicated?! You should have seen the prior setup. Trying to play a CD or an LP was a troubleshooting exercise all in itself. Now, when I turn the CD player on the Wiim switches automatically to that input. The same thing with the turntable and the Sonos Port. I leave the RME powered on and the Boxem Arthur has audio sensing and wakes up.

I already had the RME DAC and I use it for headphones, plus it has a higher voltage line out than the Wiim for driving the Boxem Arthur amp. It’s not strictly necessary, of course.

The Sonos Port is used mostly for background music in sync with the Sonos gear in the rest of the house. Again, not strictly necessary but nice to have.

Very nice to hear so.
You are cordially invited to visit and participate on the thread "Let's share diagrams (and photos) of our total physical audio system and the whole signal path, with a few words and/or links"!:)

Economy needs your contributions.

Hmmm... your Rega RP6 looks to be one of the older hardware.
Have you heard about the armless turntable (PP-1) that is made from a solid block of aluminum?

Or would you rather consider that new ELPJ laser pickup turntable?

I was thinking Surround Sound myself…5.1 is a good start. :p
I’ve been down that road a few times before and I’ve settled on Sonos for my movie viewing. It sounds good enough and I appreciate the minimalism.

A few different random ideas.

I'll continue on the same track as others in the thread and give suggestions on where you can fix a and or improve the sound experience. One or a better sound system in: the bedroom, hobby room, kitchen, basement, summer house, patio, boat. Or any other place or space you have. You can always pop sound into one of those. :)

Headphones have not been mentioned.

Go to some nice live concerts. :)

Spend more on music, if your system is finished and does all you need. There are so many vinyl records you don't own yet, that are great. There are so many concerts that you did not hear. and so on....

Or start diy'ing, that is a never ending money pit hobby...
