So my current cameras are a Fujifilm X-T10 and X-T2, mirrorless with APS-C sensors. I'm loving them both. [edit] The main shortcoming these is that neither have in-body stabilization as the newer X-T4 and X-T5 do.

I have a very modest selection of lens I'm currently using; I've got some pics of those:

Fujinon 18-55mm 2.8-4 R LM OIS -- certainly my favorite and most used lens. It has in-lens stabilization.
Fujinon 18-55mm 2.8-4 R LM OIS.jpg

Fujinon XC 50-230 mm F4.5-6.7 OIS II -- from Fuji's 'XC' line, not quite the quality of their 'XF' line but decent, cheaper, and lighter due to plastic construction. This lens too has in-lens stabilization.

7artisans 12mm (manual focus) -- there's really nothing like an ultra-wide, non-distortion lens: in this case a 18mm std. 35mm equivalent. This is a lot cheaper than any comparable Fujinon lens and does a decent job. Manual focus is no problem with such short focal lengths.

TTArtisan 40mm F2.8 Macro -- will get in a lot closer than my 18-55 zoom; manual focus isn't much of a problem working on tripod:

TTartisan 27mm F2.8 Auto Focus -- a light, compact, "pancake" lens: 41mm std. 35mm equivalent. The fairly new Fujinon 27mm F2.8 R WR lens is a bit shorter and would be preferable but is almost 3X the price:

I‘m also using the Fuji-X system. Cameras: X-T4 and X-T2. Lenses: Samyang 21mm 1.4, Fuji 33mm 1.4 and Fuji 50-140mm 2.8. Thinking about buying the newly anounced Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 as my new vacation lens.

Among other things, I got a prewar 7.5 cm f/4.5 Ludwig Pilotar, shown here mounted on a Pilot Super. It's in my queue for restoration.

I have Nikon, F-mount. I have a modern full-frame Nikon DSLR, with the usual autofocus lenses. It works with all my old gear dating back to my F3. I seem to still use some of the old lenses more than the new.
I often use a 20mm f/3.5. I like it for evening and night photos, street sceens. It does nice things with the lighting and sources of light. I got it for cheap, it has an incredibly fine mechanical feel. It takes really nice pictures if the lighting is right.

The 28mm f/2.8 is another inexpensive lens that I use.

This 105 f/2.5 is the best portrait lens I have. It has many revisions, the one I have is all-metal, but they all have good reputations. The range and aperture engravings are ultra-sharp, every mechanical detail is perfect. So is the lens, with beautiful out of focus regions. It's another lens that feels great in the hand.

I do macro photography. To me it makes no sense to buy an autofocus macro when old manual macro gear seems to be still pretty cheap. I've had a 200mm f/4 for years, and it's another that feels good in hand. I've briefly handled a modern Nikkor macro, I think I prefer the feel of the older manual focus for the type fine-tuning you do while macro.

I use these four lenses and a 50mm over half the time, the rest of the time I use an autofocus zoom.

I shoot Nikkor F-mount and Pentax (Takumar screw-mount) on my 35mm film cameras. I prefer primes, but I love the E-Series zooms. Zeiss 80 planar and 250 sonnar for my Hasselblad. I adapt them all to my Sony A7rIII. As far as native E-mount lenses go, I use Tamron 17-28 f/2.8 di iii and 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2.

There aren't quite as many Nikon F-mount lenses here as there are bits of hifi ephemera, but it's close.
My faves include an AF-S Nikkor ED 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 G VR
an AF-S Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 G
and a Sigma 10-20 mm f/4.0-5.6 that I like to call "the realtor's wide angle zoom" :)

I also quite like the venerable 55 mm f/3.5 Micro-Nikkor for macro-esque work.

All of the above are kind, thoughtful, and generous gifts from my son, who is the real photographer in the family. That said, I do think he appreciated my encouragement/enablement in terms of photography :)

the 70-300 mm

the 10-20 mm Sigma
close-in

far-out ;)

the Micro-Nikkor

(still on a learning curve with this one! ;) )

The 50 mm I mostly use for low-light & portraits, and I really don't have even a halfway-decent image to share -- but I do like the lens quite a bit.

My current most used camera is a Canon R5 with battery grip.

In my travel bag, I usually have the EF 24-70 2.8L II, EF 100-400 4.5-5.6L IS II with EF x2 III and the EF 11-24 4.0L

For events, I replace the 100-400 by the RF 70-200 2.8L IS and the 11-24 by the EF 16-35 2.8L III.

For street or family or private events, or small venues concerts, I like the EF 24 1.4L II and EF 85 1.4L IS.

For pure portrait work, I'd use the RF 85 1.2L DS.

Looks good. I'm glad I'm not the only person using a few non-Fujinon lenses. The Fujinon lens tend to be great but, for me, can be prohibitively expensive.

I sold my Nikon F back in the early '70s -- not without some regret but certainly enjoyed the lighter way and usability of the Olympus OM-1 that replaced. Going to the Olympus, of course, meant a new set of lenses unfortunately.

Are you still using a Nikon F? For better or worse I sold mine in the early '70s.

Fabulous pics from you as usual. Maybe you won't be surprised by the fact that I like you bird portraits best of all.

I guess for many of us there's no such thing as too many lens -- that includes me.

My current aspiration is for either NiSi 9mm f/2.8 Sunstar OR the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D super-wide, zero-distortion lenses; (undecided which). I love the super-wides for travel photography as well as indoor shooting -- these 9mm for APS-C cameras have a 13.6mm std. 35mm equivalent. Self-indulgent, though, because I already have the 7artisans 12mm lens, (but you can never have too wide in a rectilinear lens).

I use Fuji X system. Currently have 33 mm F1.4 R LM WR on it and frequently use 70-300 mm also. I waited months for my 70-300 order and it has a small spec of dust inside the lens so was a bit disappointed for that. But it works fine nonetheless. Looking for an XC 15-45 mm for light weight all rounder, but it's not in stock anywhere.

Another Fuji nut here. X-T2 with:

- XF 23 f2
- XF 35 f1.4
- XF 90 f2
- XF 18-70 f4
- XC 70-230
- Samyang 12 f2

I also have a broken 16-55 f2.8  It doesn’t focus properly anymore.

I'm also fascinated by the possibilities of today's best technology, though I have to rein in my enthusiasm for many of today's flagship lenses because size and weight can be a factor, as I may be carrying them about for hours at a time. For me, ~500 grams is a practical limit for a carry-about lens. But there are a few such lenses which are still manageable for me, such as Sony's 24/1.4 G Master:
