Please use a Seinfeld voice when reading the subject

The internet machine keeps pointing me at this effing site, with its buzzfeedish clickbaity article titles and questionable claims mixed with good audio science. For example, they recently claimed quite correctly that you can already hit transparency in a DAC at the $100 price point. But the same article describes headphones with audiophile subjectivist bargle like this: "micro-detail, imaging coherence, and transient speed continue to improve through roughly $300."

WTF is the deal with that joint? Where did it come from? I don't recall it existing even a year or two ago, but maybe it just ran under my radar.

(Looking at its 'About' page (and from its name) it looks like it began as a headphones site? In 2016? Run by a bunch of 20-30 year olds from Williamsburg circa 2005 (judging by their whimsical cartoon avatars)?

Don’t forget a sprinkle of pseudoscience from Goldensound.

That's the article I was referring to in the first post.

It started showing up in my google news feed a couple of months ago. It didn't take very long before I used the "Don't show content from ****************" option. What a bunch of noodle heads.
