Not audio, but... After tidying up my workshop at the beginning of lockdown - yes this is the tidy state, you should have seen it before...

I replaced all the elements in my Dualit 2+1 combi toaster - The 1st slice was not browning on one side...

Then I replaced the motor start capacitor in my Panasonic SD-255 breadmaker - It's 15 years old, the cap had degraded and the machine was not kneading the dough fully...

Then I decided to buy a 1600W/43J Demolition hammer to break up the concrete under the paving in my garden - this is an ongoing project, the hammer weighs 18kg (40LBS), it's quite tiring to use, especially when it buries itself in the concrete and the clay underneath...

A Pass B1 Buffer that wants to be a radio antenna .
Going to try something tomorrow other than the BOM smps .
Weird , all soldering looks clean but touching anything just increases hum and buzz

I removed useless modifications from an Elekit TU-870R mini tube amplifier in preparation for possible sale, and while I was at it, I figured I'd prepare speaker wires to go with it, and play around with it a bit, as it had been boxed up for years. Although Elekit's DIY offerings are mostly tube-centric, the sheet metal all fits together beautifully in a way that Heathkits of yore didn't quite do without persuasion, and I like how newer offerings have almost completely eliminated point to point wiring. Decent square wave response suggests it's reasonably well designed.

But mostly I've been restoring old film cameras, the latest being this little Minolta.
