Sorry if this is an unusual question, i need some professional input here.
On the ios Apple Music app there are a bunch of eq presets in the app settings, one of them being
'loudness'. I've come to use this preset as a baseline when tuning my earphones for casual listening but recently i tried tuning a pair of earphones without the loudness preset and for the life of me i wasn't able to replicate the loudness preset.
On MacOS' Apple music app, the 10 band eq settings for 'loudness' is actually shown but after i replicated it on my Qudelix 5k's 10 band eq and did an A/B comparison with the app's 'loudness' setting, it clearly isn't the same, and it wasn't just a minor tweak of difference. The app's preset almost seems to smooth out the harsh high end in a way that i can't replicate myself and it baffles me how good it sounds compared to my own efforts of replicating it outright.
I'm just looking for some answers on what exactly is in this preset, because it sounds almost unnaturally good for just an eq preset (post processing?) and i could also use some help replicating the preset so i can apply it to other audio sources other than Apple music.
