I just changed my system to use a dspNexus as a "preamp" along with a WIIM ultra as a streamer and an LG OLED tv. That led to 3 remotes, two of which are very small. In the past I used Harmony remotes, but they are no longer and I lost the bases for those in the last move.

I want to know what people are using as good remotes these days that including learning, as the dspNexus will not likely be on anyone's preprogrammed list. I would only want to learn volume, mute and source selection from this remote. All of this as at the behest of my fiancé who doesn't like multiple remotes.

Appreciate suggestions as I am out of touch on the subject.

I haven't seen a new one in years.

I recently replaced my Harmony remote with a Softbaton U2, because I needed a universal remote that could handle a mix of IR and BT devices. I am very happy with it. It is easy to program and any key can be programmed as a macro sequence of commands.
