Koss Porta Pro - sturdy and sounds decent.
RBH earbuds - also sturdy and sound very good.

I'm cheap, active and klutzy. Headphones need to be sturdy to survive with me.

Sony MDR-7506
Hifiman Sundara
Hifiman RE800s

The RE800s IEMs solved a long-term problem I had, which was a really bad resonance at 2-3Khz, like a soprano hitting a high note. Very annoying since I like classical. My right ear crackles if the note is loud enough. I guess it's a pinna problem, because it doesn't happen with the RE800s.

Hello everyone, just signed up today , nice to meet you all. I like this forum and it's philosophy very much (relying on measurements instead of subjective anectodes). You can pretty much find great reviews (subjective ones without numbers to back up, or influenced by sponsores..) on ANY hifi item , and in the end you're more confused than befor because you have about 20 different subjective Impressions on what to get.
Currently I'm usung a Hifiman Ananda, would have been a Sundara but i got great deal on the Ananda ...driven by qudelix5k, which i purchased because of the decent LDAC measurements for SINAD and output power (only using BT these days with a 50cm cable, started soldering myself ...because you know , 2,5mm balance are a PITA) to buy, so i'm making my own cables (boy it was hard to source 2,5mm plugs haha).
My 2nd one is a AKG k701 , this one i bought because it looks neat especially for girls it's a good way to get them into Headphones...looks great as a winter accessoire with some aftermarket white leather pads, hoping to get my gf into this hobby with these. plus i'm in the soldering mood to do this bass mod, which appearently does a great deal for bass quality and isn't too hard?)
Oh and i secretly put this pic as a wallpaper on her CELL :
Considerung getting a L30 amp for these and just using the qudelix as a bt dac to feed it. Will post some pics when all mods are done and it's reterminated to 2,5mm balance.

Shure SRH440 and Shure SRH840 :) Both are detailed and neutral in my opinion though the SRH840 have more bass. Currently used unamped!

How different is the HD800s to your other headphones? Did you EQ your HD800s?

SRH840's are my daily headphones for pandemic working from home. I have had them for about 6-7 years, but never listened as much as the last 9 months. I just replaced the headband due to one of the plastic extenders breaking. While at it, I replaced the stock pads with Brainwavz angled pleather. Very happy with the comfort and sound. The 840's are a pretty neutral reference for a sensible price.

I just got some Fiio FD5's, and after PEQ for some treble spikes, they sound really good. I own Hifiman HE-400i, Sundaras, and RE800s IEMs. The FD5s have both high quantity and high quality bass IMO. Lots of the actual tone and less bloom. I listen to mostly Classical and Prog Rock.

Lots of past headphones, now only my IEMs (forget brand and name) for portable use and Takstar Pro 82 for bedroom listening. The comfort of the Pro 82 directly translates to music enjoyment. They're flat out the most comfortable headphone I've used and I can lay my head on the pillow without the headphones being pressed forward.

Majority of listening is done on my stereo/HT system, so I simplified and am now a recovered Head-Fi addict.
