The HP50s aren't getting much love since I got the DT770s, but they are compact and convenient to pack for traveling so will keep.

Having too many headphones makes you not always use every headset.and many of them start to accumulate dust. I sold some, but selling used in China is always a hassle. Now I use he400i and ananda most of the time.

That's a big collection!

Send the ones accumulated dust to @amirm for testing. ;)

this is why I don’t intend to expand my headphone collection.

buying gear that you don’t actually use just doesn’t make sense to me.

The buying almost always makes sense because you use it at first. The tough part is selling it once you stop using it.

Me, Sennheiser HD 650. Not using them much, I'm more of a speaker guy.

I just ordered a replacement after years of use just about every piece of cloth on it has decayed or frayed. I don't have much desire to try/buy/collect others since I dislike (actually can't stand) closed back ones.

Im Lucky owner of :
Sennheiser HD800 conected to Asus Xonar Essence One (Soon I'll change Headphone cable on full balanced one)
Sennheiser IE800 Which I'm using with Ibasso DX80 or Fiio 7 Mark II
Fiio FH5 with ballanced cable connected to Fiio7 Mark II

For me good enough;)

At work: Sennheiser HD280 (going on 8 years with those headphones, just sewed up my own headband padding because the pleather was dying)

At home: AKG K612, HIFIMAN Sundara (well, once they come back from repair, had them for about a week and the impedance on one channel went up by a very audible amount. Sounded great before that though, and very comfy)

On the go: Sony MDR-AS20J

Do you have a link to that? I was thinking of upgrading but a friend warned me that when he switched from the HD650 to HD800 he was not happy with the stock frequency response.
