What headphone(s) do you own ?

Used/trades
AKG K240 DF
AKG K240 Sextett LP
AKG K340
AKG K701 (Austrian)
AKG N90Q
Beyerdynamic DT 990 250 ohm
Sony MDR V6

New:
AirPods Max (day 1)
Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro
Moondrop Chu II DSP
Truthear Zero (blue)
Truthear x Crinacle Zero (red)

Hifiman Sundara - very good price for sound quality and comfort.
They just need a small EQ to sound well.

But in general i prefer earbuds because basses are way better than any headphone.

Hifiman Edition XS, 2025
Hifiman Sundara, 2020
Sennheiser Momentum, 2012
I am about to explore the Hifiman Edition XS with my new Topping DX5 II Headphone Amp.
Looking forward to apply the Harmann Curve.

Beyerdynamic DT880 (Dekoni Elite Leather pads) - Music/gaming/Youtube. Mainly because they don't make anything sound bad, but they're also insanely comfortable.
Beyerdynamic DT1990 (Dekoni Elite Velour pads) - Like with music, mainly use for watching 5.1 streaming content via Pioneer box that does Dolby Headphone.
Linsoul 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 - MP3 player, and occasionally watching media on my tablet when out of the house.
HiFiMan Edition XS*
Sennheiser HD800*

Previously had the Mod House Tungsten, but returned them. I had too many issues with them, but amping wasn't one of them.
Have the Edition XV on the way.

*do not like the way either of these sound at all with music. I use them exclusively with the Realiser A16 though, and with that they're fantastic. Mainly thanks to the soundstage.

What headphone(s) do you currently own ?
Which one(s) is(are) used the most, or is your favorite ?
GRADO SR325 (retired)
GRADO RS1x + Chord Mojo 2 DAC
GRADO GW100x (for hockey games and movie streaming and office phone and Zoom calls)

Etymōtic ER4SR + iFi Audio Go Link Max DAC
Etymōtic hf3 (phone calls on the go)

My daily user and favorite for about five years is the Beyer 880 Edition 250 ohm with coiled cord. Love it !
The BD 990, 770 and 880 600 ohm versions all had left driver failures despite limited use and careful use and storage

Hifiman HE1000se which replaced Sennheisder HD650. The hifiman is the most accurate and detail exposing source i've ever heard audio through... Although listening to speakers is infinitely more enjoyable and I hope to get that same clarity one day (it's not far behind). I use EQ APO and tried some different presets generated by someone smarter than me until I found one I liked. They are very comfortable and this is probably EQ dependent anyway but they are very "pleasant" or non-fatiguing. They just sound soothing (the same thing I've noticed about my Revels that I just set up today--perhaps this is just what a good flat response sounds like).

I'm a big fan of airpods for their simplicity for out and about.

Well just added the AKG K371 to the collection, less than 100 bucks used off Amazon. I have many pairs, some much more expensive but mainly older stuff. The K371 sounds the best, mainly due to strong bass response, outshining my open back planars. Highs are shimmery, mids are clear and smooth.

Still love my Mod House Argon mk3, but they're much harder to drive, the K371 sound so good and are so convenient I can run them straight off my DAP. They're awesome and cheap and I'm a believer in Harman over ears and the research that went into that preference curve.

For monitoring voices they are fine.
Dirt cheap and fairly sturdy.

For music enjoyment both 55 and 600ohm version are not well suited. You also cannot mix or produce on them.
The fact that some people actually love them is another matter. There are also people adoring the DT48.
Solderdude what are your top headphones regardless of price in order, if you don't mind me asking?

In this order JT7-HD550-X1

The original DT1350 but using different aftermarket pads and have replaced the cable as it hardened and fell apart. Also the headband padding fell off and now using some aftermarket thing.
Also had the T51i and still have the T51p (gave it to the wife but now she's using the Tune 770 because wireless and ANC and over-ear (for small ears).
Tried the T50p but did not like it

All of them are unobtanium now.

Modified Shure SRH840.
Different pads and very good sound.
The same goes for FT13, it is modified.

Stock I did not like the SRH840A at all.

Comfort of the HD490 is quite different.
That said, comfort of the JT7 is fine to me.
Bass sounds good to me but I am not a Harman bass level fan.
When you're a basshead look elsewhere.
When you like 'clean' bass and want a 'bass tone ladder' to sound correct... this will do that at this price point.
Very clear mids and no piercing highs.
Of course one can EQ in a few dB of bass.

Lowest bass notes are 32 Hz and this is not attenuated so bass extension is more than sufficient.

That said I have been getting reports of people having copies that show some issues. All I can say is mine doesn't and I like how it sounds.
For me it is one of those models that does not need EQ (but like all other headphones) it can benefit with some EQ/tone control to taste.

Is this the best planar magnetic around. I'm sure it is not.
Is it one of, if not the best entry level planar magnetic ? IMO yes.
I prefer it over the hifiman's I have (includes 2x Sundara).
