What filters are people using with Okto Dac8?

I never looked at it, so must be set at the default.
Fast Roll-off / Minimum Phase is the default filter per the manual (as with many ESS based DACS). I guess ESS thinks it's the best filter to go by?
I use the Hybrid Fast Roll-off / Minimum Phase as it APPEARS to have a little less post ringing - not that I can hear the difference though.

I've been using FRLP as I think linear phase is a bit more technically "correct", but doubt I could hear a difference between FRLP and FRMP.

Yeah - I've seen that LP filters looks like it's the most "correct," but I've also read that LP filters introduce other problems.
I've also noticed that many uber DACS APPEAR to us LP filters either by default, or as the only option (based on John Atkinson's measurements, as he is consistent in measuring impulse).
My choice (with the OKTO) is simply based on his notes regarding his perception of the Hybrid filter. I tried going through them, with the Hybrid being last. Since I could hear no difference (I'm 62 so pretty sure my hearing is topped out), I just left it there.
