Easy. The less distortion and noise it has the better you hear your music. Even frequency response is probably more important but as almost any amp does that, only noise and distortion remains. For small and big budget that's almost exclusively class d. Because it measures well and is cheap to make.What do you look for in a Home Power Amp , Specs , Aesthetics , Amp Class "A" or "A/B" or "D"
Trying to find out what most people are actually buying as far as just an Amplifier and what their criteria is for actually making the purchase.......trying to learn and help me to NOT make a mistake......
More important than amp tech is room eq. A minidsp flex or eq in software will do much much more to the end result.
