Looks like that's what he meant, it's your only choice, don't see a dedicated sub pre-out....just need to connect to both L/R inputs on the sub so it can sum to mono....can I not connect the sabaj a10h to the pre out of my amplifier?

The wattage of the amps involved isn't particularly going to tell you anything. You may have to fool around with the gain structure a bit to find something to allow the arbitrary change of sub level within a range you find useful....should I set the sub's volume knob to maximum ?
