Me. I prefer Dunu. Monarck has a "wow" effect and makes you dance for 15 minutes but after that it tires you out. With Dunu you can sit and listen to music for hours.
You have to like the sound with little gain of the pinna, since it is far from Harman (for me it is an advantage because I find it unnatural and tiring). They are two complementary IEMs but already having Arya Stealth as a technical monster, Monarck seemed redundant

Moondrop blessing has the best opening experience.

Excellent answer, thank you!

At the moment:
1: 7Hz Timeless II
2. Ziigaat Odissey
3. SIMGOT SuperMix 4

but I'm waiting for Xenns Mangird Tea PRO

Has anyone here compared the Valhalla and Prestige LTD? I have read and watched reviews and am torn between these two TOTL IEMs from Thieaudio.

I listen mostly to jazz and classical on vinyl, using my current IEM (7HZ Timeless - +1 for that being a favorite) to discover new albums of interest from a Spotify stream. My digital sources are an iPhone stream through a Questyle CMA18 DAC when mobile or a WIIM Pro stream through a Schiit Valhalla 2 Tube Amp and Schiit Gungnir Multibit DAC where sound isolation is mandatory (to avoid disturbing my wife). My preference for vinyl is driven by the musicality, imaging and layered 3D soundstage (McIntosh tube amps, Basis and 1200G turntable in a carefully treated primary listening room).

My request for guidance: I don't expect an IEM to compete with vinyl. But I would like to approximate the vinyl musicality, image separation, and soundstaging as closely as possible. Does it make sense to upgrade the Timeless to ThieAudio TOTL options if I limit my source to lossy Spotify? Do you concur that the Prestige LTD gets close to the Valhalla capabilities in musicality, imaging, and soundstage? Would it be best to make the investment in the stock Valhalla or use the savings from purchase of the Prestige LTD to also invest in upgraded cables or source equipment?

I look forward to receiving your valued opinions!

They're completely opposite schools of tuning. Dunu follows the trend of a relaxed pinna with splashy highs (some might call them "microdetailed focused"); Monarch Mk3 is more of a typical Chinese V shape tuning.

Iems in tandem with the SA6 mk2 would be the SS ie900, the MEST MK2 and MK3, the Aful explorer and Performer 8, and, inside Thieaudio's lineup, the Oracle MK1 and, to some capacity, the Oracle Mk3. In tandem with the Monarch, you have almost every other Thieaudio and most V shaped harman/VSDF focused chinese iems.

2. JBL Endurance Race Bluetooth Wireless

Don't let the FR deceive you, the auto-EQ the JBL app provides makes these sound spectacular. They are the most comfortable Bluetooth IEMs that I've used and are made for sports/outdoor use because of that little protrusion that secures them well (to my ears at least).
I am on the prowl for a pair of new wireless IEMs. I read that the Jabra Elite 8 Active Gen 2 are great, but cannot be purchased anymore. :( Have you seen or experienced the JBL Endurance Race 2?

Shure SE846 - quad high-definition microdrivers with a three-way system and a low-pass filter. I used to work with it
yes, I bought them in 2013, countless hours of enjoyment, but has fallen behind times, now my $20 moondrop Chu II, dance around them.

I have not heard them. As they are a part of the sports line they will be tuned to be bass heavy out of the box. I would not be surprised if they are tuned like the originals with ANC being the major difference between them as far as sound goes.

Do note that the app for the originals can tune them to Harman. I included a picture of the EQ profile in that post that shows how well it aligns with my measurements to boost and drop what it should. They likely do the same here but as I have not used them I cannot say for sure.

My top ones are:
1. Xenns Mangird Tea PRO
2. Ziigaat Odissey
3. S12 Pro

Some time has passed since I last posted in this thread, I've gained much experience and enjoyed it all very much. Now my top 3:
  1. Kiwi x HBB Punch
  2. Ziigaat Odyssey
  3. ISN H20
The first 2 are easy choices, but I may be biased since they're my 2 most expensive. 3rd place is really a tie between the H20 and the KZ PRX, but I'll give it to the H20 for being a unique W-shaped sound signature, and offering something different for bassheads, as in forward vocals to balance with huge mid-bass thump. I find the set very interesting, and that it tickles me to no end.
