Unbelievably great album. Reverential treatment of these songs with original interpretation, highly melodic with some spiky mehldau alterations and decorations woven in.

Bhajan Bhoy - To Love Is To Love Volume 1 (to be followed by Volume 2 :) ) 2023
A pair of stunning releases, really beautiful, largely instrumental albums from Ajay Saggar's Bhajan Bhoy project. Psychedelic, dubby ragas. Sorry, can only find the Bandcamp stream for you.

Just had The Police’s “Walking on the Moon” play on an Apple Music station (off Reggatta de Blanc), what a great track to assess a sound system, lovely bass line along with sparkly hi-hats to show off (or reveal the annoyances of) the treble capabilities.

Dunno where this came from, but the album was the first I remember Dad buying - hell I was only four!!!! :D No Ginger Baker, but a good vibe and recording if you find the right mastering...

Fourteen years or so later, we grooved away doing dems using this - great on big IMF transmission lines, oh yes indeedy - cough....

I've not listened to all this yet, but the Steven Wilson mixes of Quark and PXR5 are pretty damn good.

Listening to the recent Brothers In Arms Atmos mix (have the opportunity to turn up the volume today!), what a beautifully recorded album and loving the spacious mix for something different (although the stereo is still exquisite).
