9Bach, winners of the 2015 BBC Folk Music Awards - saw them live at the Sage, Gateshead last year. They were outstanding...a few of the traditional folkies in attendance were unhappy ("not real folk music is it...") The Sage is an outstanding venue for all types of music in the North of England. It has excellent acoustics - some bands do their best to muck it up, though...:D

Great stuff! Added to my Roon library from Tidal. :)

Wow, that is insanely good. I don't speak a word of Spanish but understand this under Youtube comments: "Lana del Rey Mexicana"

Lana del Ray is one of my favorite singers. While they are a bit different I get the same delight listening to Carla.

Alas, I can't find this track on Tidal. It is part of Amazon Prime though so I can stream it on the phone.

Wow, good stuff. Wish I could find that track on Tidal though. Still nice new artist discovery for me :).

Even Letterman loves them ...

Watched their full tribute show to Leonard Cohen yesterday on Swedish television, magical! Available here https://www.svtplay.se/video/155812...st-aid-kit-tolkar-cohen-pa-dramaten-avsnitt-1, go get a VPN/Proxy service and watch & enjoy. Just checked and it should be available from abroad. Their version of "So long, Marianne" alone is worth it.

I love First Aid Kit too, this will be from a Swedish music award show when they honor a chosen artist each year, they are regulars, see http://time.com/3591929/first-aid-kit-america-video/ for some info. My fav album is The Lions Roar (2012), which is a HDCD!
Not that similar musically, but also sisters with amazing voices, are The Staves.
