Zappa - Joe's Garage Acts I, II, and III

zappa.jpg

Wiki:
"Zappa self-deprecatingly described the album as a "stupid little story about how the government is going to
do away with music."[1] The story is told by a character identified as the "Central Scrutinizer" narrating the
story of Joe, an average adolescent male who forms a garage rock band, has unsatisfying relationships with
women, gives all of his money to a government assisted and insincere religion, explores sexual activities with
appliances, and is imprisoned. After being released from prison into a dystopian society in which music itself
has been criminalized, he lapses into insanity."

I just love that old groove music ... as good an example as any,

Full volume, this stuff throbbing throughout the house is absolutely brilliant - can never get enough of it, ;).

Note, bonus eye candy included ...

Was just reminded of another favourite, pedal to the metal track,

Brilliant version of this song, takes me to another space every time I hear it ...

So called Midwest, USA
Starbuck- a fool in line-Here's something to follow that massive drum solo: old school but a unique "island resort" sound of the time.
