I like Neil Young. The album I like the most : "HARVEST".
I bought the LP in 1972 when I lived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. I had a B&O turntable... !
and I do like Tom Waits, I've listened to the album "Alice" so many times... I know all of his albums... if you who are reading don't know Tom Waits you're so lucky because you have a lot of albums to listen to.
This is one of my favourite album.... 300 years old musical instruments... and the incredible voice of Andreas Scholl............ When recording is made by Harmonia Mundi - a small french company founded in 1958 - you know the sound is very good. Too bad, streaming companies are killing them, they will probably go out of business.
Humble Pie's "Live with me" is a spiritual experience at 90db (or so I hear). we should of course keep it to less than 85 and even there it's a good listen. On a more mellow note "Killing the blues" by John Smith (seriously) is a beautiful song esp if you like acoustic guitar. I think Spotify is the only streaming service that has it available.
What a good age to be where high performing and incredibly sounding audio gears are now very affordable. I haven't listened to this album since my immature kid days lol, but my jaws keeps dropping on how incredible this album sounds on the Yamaha HS7+HS8S. One subjective thing to say: I've never heard this album sounded better than ever before.
Little Freddie King - Chasing The Blues Crackho Flo
I'm usually a fan of Chicago style blues but every now and then I run off the tracks with some N'Orlin's stuff.
Kinda makes you grin

Any mention of Humble Pie can only makes me think of this.
"Chicago Green, talkin' 'bout Black Lebanese
A dirty room and a silver coke spoon
Give me my release, come on
Black Nepalese, it's got you weak in your knees
Sneeze some dust that you got buzzed on
You know it's hard to believe"
BLAH! Butchered.
She doesn't come close to the original country version by Lisa Layne and her amazing voice.
It's being heard on music stations all over the country as it always has.
It would never be Christmas without Lisa
Crank it up loud!
